It started in a poetry class...

 

An exercise to charge the mind. My teacher, the renowned Canadian poet, Robyn Sarah, told me I had a gift for metaphor and brevity. (The first time in my life I realized I was good at something.) And so it began, with words cut from magazines and craftwork hand-made from construction paper, which juxtaposed, made fun, thought-provoking pieces of art. Eventually, the artwork found its way onto a line of gift products, from greeting cards, coffee mugs and throw pillows.
